Ping Identity Passes 500 Customer Milestone

Enterprises and SaaS Vendors Worldwide Choose Ping Identity as the Proven Independent Choice for Cloud Identity Security

DENVER, Colo. — August 4, 2010 — Ping Identity® today announced it has surpassed 500 customers worldwide using its Cloud Identity Security solutions to improve productivity and reduce the risk of unauthorized access to Internet based applications.  With more companies moving their business applications to the Cloud, Ping Identity’s customer base has grown rapidly in the last 12 months and now includes more than 30 of the Fortune 100 and more than 175 SaaS and BPO providers.

Ping Identity is seeing similar growth in its partner efforts.  Its SaaS Partner Program now has more than 100 members, each member using and recommending Ping to their enterprise customers.  Ping has reseller and referral agreements with 38 Cloud Integrators worldwide and continues to build on technology relationships with ArcSight, Salesforce, Google, and others.

Security requirements and greater efficiency in the Cloud are driving more businesses to choose Ping. A recent TechValidate survey of Ping customers found that 51% of Ping Identity’s customers purchased PingFederate to secure access to SaaS and other external applications.  37% said they use Ping to provide customers and vendors with access to Internet-based applications without managing third party identities and passwords and 10% said they are using Ping to meet an internal mandate for no passwords in the Cloud.
